Since 2018, the Foundation’s Founder and Chair of the Board of Trustees, Ms. Sarah Amara, has been offering full academic scholarships to two students who are disproportionately affected by poverty. Both students are attending accredited private elementary and junior high schools in Monrovia, Liberia. The

Foundation increased the number of academic scholarships to five (5) in the upcoming 2021 academic school year.

As of the 2023 academic year, the Sarah Kokro Amara Foundation is granting full academic scholarships to twenty deserving students who are currently enrolled in elementary and junior high schools in Monrovia, Liberia.
